Gary Shelton is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner and board-certified adult nurse practitioner. He has also held an Advanced Practice Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse certification. Gary received his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois, graduating with President’s Honors. He has been a local, national, and international speaker for several professional societies, including the American Cancer Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology, and a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. Gary’s passions include mentoring and contributing to the professional development of his colleagues and peers, as well as the ongoing discovery of evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
